Auch heute gibt es noch Gamer, die leidenschaftlich auf ihren Classic / Retro Konsolen spielen und nicht auf Emulatoren. Viele Spiele wurden damals mit einer Knopfbatterie versehen, um Spielstände zu speichern (battery-backed SRAM). Klar ist, dass nach mehr als über 20 Jahren diese Batterien kaum noch funktionieren. Das hat den Nachteil, dass zum einen Spielstände nicht mehr gesichert werden können – In einigen Fällen können Spiele nicht einmal mehr gestartet werden.
Leider sind diese Batterien nicht einfach so zu wechseln, sondern man muss sie teilweise auslöten und so umständlich erneuern. Wer sich das selbst nicht zutraut, kann uns gerne kontaktieren.
